APX Psychological is now wintering in Florida!
Beginning in December 2016, APX retreats will be held on their yacht in the Sarasota area from December 1st – April 15th. This is on a large, private yacht. Each retreat is extremely private and individualized, with only 1 – 2 women max. They are 4-day retreats that can be scheduled either during the week or the weekend.
We will continue to do our regular retreats at APX Psychological in North Carolina the rest of the year (April through December) on our usual Mondays through Saturdays. See our website for more information.
Words from Dr. Kavanaugh
The weather is now going through change. Dramatic, yet still beautiful. Spring colors. The beauty is the new dimension, not the standard.
When people think about their lives and what they want; most of what is in demand is standard. People want all the good milestones, with all the good outcomes standard. But for many of the people who become successful; the recipe is rarely standard. Some of the outcomes START or originate from nothing or less than. People often assume nothing can come from nothing. Not true. Nothing gets momentum with motivation. A seed often starts off as nothing, yet everything within it has the power to become something much bigger than itself.
Likewise, perseverance builds tentacles. Proof: many successful corporations with second and third generations reaping the rewards were built upon first generation sweat, ingenuity, and labor. Making configurations altering between compensation and generation. Hard work, foot work, determination, and perseverance are often overlooked, as the key variables in what succeeds and what fails. The next time you hear yourself say you want standard; realize you can’t afford it.
